One Good Man Among The Blueshirts
Among their ranks were a few good men
For whom me must give thanks
When Dé Velera against the people
Stood with big business and the banks
That drove the people to poverty
Who by fawning the clergy they appeased
The police along with the bailiff gangs
Arrived, homes and cattle they seized.
But some said no, it shall not be so
While a lot they stood for was wrong
In their fight they did a little right
They today would have stood along
With the people who fight the banks
Against bailiff and police protect homes and the homestead
We remember one who died in such a fight
We remember one Good Blueshirt, now dead
