\nGreen lights of hope in windows burn,
\nAs folk fight to save their homes,
\nFrom faceless corporations and banks,
\nNot conquering nations, kings on thrones.<\/p>\n

We do not see the Peelers there
\nThey stand not by the Union Jack
\nBut the Gardai take their place…
\nThe Eviction Squads are back.<\/p>\n

For the sake of mere profit
\nThey show no mercy, do not relax,
\nGive no change to a people struggling,
\nTo pay a bank supported by their tax.<\/p>\n

But around the nation, around the world
\nGreen candles will be shown
\nIn solidarity with those who struggle
\nTo keep the house all men should own.<\/p>\n

No more the British landlords
\nOwn the land, of this we are glad
\nBut banks are faceless shameless corporations,
\nTheir Bailiffs and Garda protectors are as bad!<\/p>\n
