To ride a horse is to ride the sky,
\nSomeone once said somewhere…
\nWell I was not with horses raised,
\nBut I loved them at Banagher fair…<\/p>\n

I think the horses loved it too
\nTo walk among the crowd
\nThat will be no more if the fools win
\nWho want it not allowed
\nThat man and beast together walk
\nThe streets of Banagher town
\nAnother tradition we will have lost
\nOf a people beaten down
\nBy others who know whats best for all
\nAs our nation falls apart
\nI hope our fair’ll be more than another memory
