Reilly was the name of my Granny
\nThough Molly was not her name
\nOf Reillys they were many
\nSo they were known of from where they came…
\nAnd she married Donahoe
\nAnd then they had me mam
\nI’m her grandson, so
\nReillys Grandson I am!!!<\/p>\n

I’m respectable enough
\nOr at least that so I say,
\nBut at times have been spotted
\nWhere playboys are seen at play
\nWhere walked are the sidewalks
\nBy the ladies of the night
\nWho to our passing hero
\nPass time with them they invite<\/p>\n

Sober and upright at home,
\nBut yet when I am away
\nAmong folk of other lands
\nI have been not so some say…
\nSometimes at house parties
\nHave been seen in a riotous mood
\nSampling exotic spirits
\nAs to not do so would be rude!<\/p>\n

Walked the streets of many lands
\nEurope’s nations I have crossed,
\nYet often in Offaly
\nOr in Longford have got lost.
\nI understand a little Cyrillic script,
\nExotic town street names,
\nBut get confused when are used
\nLands tongues from which Ive came!<\/p>\n

Drink with loud drunks and plays pool,
\nLanguage no barrier, I get by…
\nThat’s when the trouble starts for me:
\nWhat Ive says made crazy drunks cry…
\nYou wonder how then and now
\nSuch frivolity: unpredictability, such fun
\nThe walking calamity that is
