\nAcross the world wide.
\nAnd man to man,
\nEach done what he can

And a world they carved from nothing there,
\nFrom a landscape hard and fair,
\nAnd today the USA
\nOwes of its success to the Lowlanders a share.<\/p>\n

There was Dutch and English, and there were Germans too,

\nAnd the stars and stripes that today flies
\nOn the backs of Lowlanders was raised.
