On seeing the Orthodox church in the grounds of the Acropolis, I thought how faiths can be passing fancies, and in a future age even Christianity will be a curiosity and an antiquity.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Where once they worshipped Apollo
\nZeus, other Gods and Pan
\nThere now stands the Church to the Son of God
\nMade flesh, and made man.<\/p>\n

This land devout, for its faith is known
\nIn its Orthodox variation
\nBut once, and maybe yet, nearly communist did become
\nThe entire Greek nation.<\/p>\n

And should such happen, or atheism
\nIn this dusty soil take hold
\nArchaic as the Pantheon maybe Jesus and the Saints
