Apperantly this is a true story from America… seeing it go around online this week, I write the verse on it below.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The lady deep in her slumbers
\nWas woken by her dear
\nWhose reasons for wakind his beloved
\nwas not as romantic as first did appear<\/p>\n

It was not for cuddles or a tumble
\nHe had shook his wife awoke
\nWho looked on in sleepy anger
\nListening baffled at the word’s of poetry he spoke…<\/p>\n

Yes, it was not the first time
\nHe was at this thing AGAIN!
\nWhat is it with the one tracked mind
\nOf some unsufferable men?<\/p>\n

So she rang the solicitor
\nTo give him the boot, hit him in the purse
\nFor this was unbearable cruelty
\nShe didnt sign up to when she said “for better or worse…”<\/p>\n

Should fellow male poets you feel the urge
\nYour wife from sleep to wake,
\nBetter not be for to read her poetry
