Out walking his dog on a July evening
\nIn the river there afloat
\nWhat he thought were local children
\nOur on the water in someones boat.
\nIt was getting dark as dusk was falling,
\nSo he beckoned them to shore,
\nBut his dog took fright and shook and fled
\nSome say, to be seen no more!<\/p>\n

Alas, too late, our hero baker
\nRealized they were no children at all
\nBut a boatload of the little folk
\nOr Good People as others call,
\nHe took to heel to the bridge he ran
\nTold locals standing there
\nWho thought he lad lost his senses
\nWhich he thought wasnt fair.<\/p>\n

The story spread of the four foot men
\nIn a boat with dog like ears…
\nSome say some locals keep an eye still out
