Enough rope given will cause the man
\nTo hang, who is greedy for rope –
\nSuch given caused a coup, impeachment
\nConcession, and a nations hope
\nProtesters dead – a policeman too –
\nBut when they reached the House Floor
\nThe Capitol Rioters looked bewildered
\nWho were so angry before.
\n\"\"<\/a>Their icon, self claimed shaman, was a hippy
\nThe farthest from a Klansman one could get
\nWhich goes to show hate can change its robes
\nMay evolve some more yet.
\nA poet she wrote, found it hard to write
\nFor the biggest reading of her life live
\nThe words did not come as is often the case
\nBut the coup caused the emotions to tumble and thrive
\nThe world looked on in wonder –
\nHow in America could this be
\nA coup and an impeachment
\nLive on each TV
\nThe instillation and the poem of hope
\nThat to the world was read
\nExpressed the thoughts and hopes and dreams
