Foggy and frosty morning<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A year has passed, like a decade gone,
\nIt feels we have aged,
\nEvery one has a different take
\nOn the new normal against which some raged<\/p>\n

As if there were no lockdowns
\nOut of control it grows
\nWhen will it end or if it ever will
\nIt seems that no one knows.<\/p>\n

Still some deny it exists at all
\nThere is no talking to folk like that
\nBut we must be kind to those of such a mind
\nCoping is where they are at.<\/p>\n

The staff who returned from far away
\nAt own cost, yet were not hired
\nSelfless, putting themselves in the front line
\nThey a whole nation they inspired.<\/p>\n

Now we have no trained staff, play catch up
\nWe are grateful for any progress made,
\nSad for those who died who need not have
\nSad for those who of the future are afraid.<\/p>\n

A new year dawns, the frosty sun
\nShows light, is bright with hope…
\nWhatever happens, as in times of old,
\nWe somehow sure will cope.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
