The verse has a novel suggestion for the cure for #COVID too!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Santa will be breaking the lockdown in December<br \/>\nRegardless if or not its Level 5<br \/>\nHe will be travelling from county to county<br \/>\nA promise is a promise made to children : Over all Garda checkpoints he will drive<\/p>\n<p>Hes got lists of toys and things electronic for the kids<br \/>\nFor all and any who were good<br \/>\nHe will give them all and\u00a0everything they ask for in reason<br \/>\nAs if they deserve\u00a0it, get they should<\/p>\n<p>It will be a very strange and eerie Christmas<br \/>\nIts not often that on Christmas day<br \/>\nThe bells in the steeple ring the welcome<br \/>\nBut no-one can go there to pray<\/p>\n<p>Somewhere a child with pure heart we hope<br \/>\nWill not ask for things to play with or cash<br \/>\nBut will ask for a vaccine for Covid19<br \/>\nSo the back of this pestilence\u00a0will smash<\/p>\n<p>So next Christmas and for ever\u00a0after<br \/>\nThere will be no restrictions on Santas task<br \/>\nSo kids when writing your your letters to Santa<br \/>\nFor a vaccine for the COVID please all ask<\/p>\n<p>It sounds as good an approach as any<br \/>\nTo ask the kids of the world this to do<br \/>\nTo our prayers God seems not to be listening<br \/>\nAnd the feckin scientists havnt\u00a0got a clue!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are hoping Ireland is not at Level 5 for Christmas, and that churches will be open for the Christmas.
