Dedicated to the memory of Tom and Martin Oliver who lost their lives between Blackrock and Silver Strand yesterday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The waters show no mercy:
\nThere is little kindness in the sea.
\nThe wind is the master of all,
\nWho on the waters wild waves be.<\/p>\n

Those who seek its bounty
\nRisk their lives a living to take,
\nThe ocean incited by wild winds…
\nA rough journey for all does make.<\/p>\n

They no longer sail the Hookers of old:
\nUnless for sport or to give a tour to a stranger.
\nFor all they have that new its true:
\nA boat is a boat, always in danger.<\/p>\n

Sometimes its not the tossing waves,
\nThere is danger in all they do,
\nThe water itself, even if its calm:
\nIt still can be deadly too.<\/p>\n

God looks down on all,
\nWho to Him for protection pray.
\nSometimes even that is not enough:
\nThe prayers that people say.<\/p>\n

Life at best is fleeting,
\nWe never know the day nor hour.
\nThere is little kindness in the sea,
\nIts crashing waves of violent power.<\/p>\n
