It is amazing the writings we tolerate that deride our Irishness, our Catholicism that come from Atheists, and if they came from a member of the Orange Order we’d be out on the streets and prosecuting them for hate crimes.

The Church does deserve its criticism, but not where is denies and derides folk the right to believe in Catholic teaching, as a Muslim has the right to be Islamic, or an Israeli to be Jewish, Indian to be Hebrew, etc.

His poem “What the Virgin at Knock Would Say If She Could Speak” in my opinion crosses that line. In today’s world of free love, there are still many people who he derides in his verse, and more who drift from relationship to relationship and one night stand to one night stand without finding happiness or fulfillment.

In short, either too much or too little sex is not good, and those affected should not be mocked. Its nothing personal against Kevin, but where its needed to say hes gone too far, it must be said.

Ref:
http://randomdescent.wordpress.com/2013/07/19/guest-post-what-the-virgin-at-knock-would-say-if-she-could-speak/“

My Son, he is Angry, with those who done wrong, Especially those who done so while hiding behind His name, God will bless those who stand up for the weak among the throng In eternity will be known those who deserve shame.
