Compared to dogs which can rarely keep silent \u2013 and be wary of the ones that do!!! \u2013 I thought would a little moo not have been more appropiate? In the dead of night such happenings are possibly the origion of the P\u00faca \/ Pooka stories.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I wish that cows to say hello<br \/>\nWould let out a little moo<br \/>\nTo let me know that they are there<br \/>\nBeyond the hedge that I look through<br \/>\nThe rustle bustle and the snort<br \/>\nScares the life out of passers by like me\u2026<br \/>\nIt is good to say hello<br \/>\nIts mannerly so to be!<\/p>\n<p>I wish that yapping dogs would learn<br \/>\nTo keep quiet as I pass<br \/>\nI see them well enough without their barking<br \/>\nBut they heed me not alas\u2026<br \/>\nThey bark and howl, and yap and growl<br \/>\nSo one would never know\u2026<br \/>\nIf they are trying to say stay away,<br \/>\nOr trying to say hello!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While walking to Arvagh today, a cow jumped up and bolted in a field next to me and put the heart crossways in me.
