Willie Rimes gave up the drink
\nNot forever as one would think
\nBut before in disbelief you blink
\nIt was only for Lent<\/p>\n

Sure he broke out St Patricks Day
\nBut sure every Irishman does Lent that way
\nSure whats one day as he himself did say
\nAs to the bar he went<\/p>\n

He celebrated St Sheila too
\nAs many a good Irishman before him did do
\nThat all don’t is something we should rue
\nSaid he, getting all historical and cultural<\/p>\n

Sure Sheila was St Patricks wife
\nSaid Willie, face straight as a knife
\nCross my heart on my grannys life
\nHe exclaimed in an accent all agricultural…<\/p>\n

But Sunday lent is ended
\nWillies good streak will be up ended
\nHe and the bar man will be refreinded
\nWillies slake for the drink wont be diminished<\/p>\n

I reckon there will be slaughter
\nAs he chases and is rejected by someones daughter
\nTries to seduce her mother before he fought her
