It being Easter Sunday,
\nAt the dawn, will the sun dance?
\nShould the clouds chance to be clear
\nThis year to see I will get the chance.
\nI for the last few have tried
\nIn my efforts have been dismayed
\nThrough work, party, and through sleep
\nI missed the dance the sun displayed
\nThat my Grandfather said it does
\nTo celebrate the risen Son
\nWho rose three days after Crucifixion
\nVictory over death being won…
\nPeasants belief of days gone by
\nYet to see I will get tomorrow to see
\nFor I at that hour shall head to work
\nShould the sky be kind to me…
\nDecades apart, generations gone,
\nMe and my grandfather two
\nUp to see the sun dance on Easter morning
\nWe are our people, its what we do!<\/p>\n
