Those modern day Quixote&#8217;s who fight against the windmills, the only clean energy available on the planet and then call themselves eco warriors, or environmentalists, really get my goat.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He rides again, against the windmills,<br \/>\nOr at least his children do&#8230;<br \/>\nModern day Don Quixote&#8217;s<br \/>\nWho to their cause are true.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Windmills kill birds and bats you know,<br \/>\nThey are big corporate toys,<br \/>\nWho make from them big profits<br \/>\nAnd I cant sleep a wink with the noise&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The cows are afraid of them,<br \/>\nThey will not eat the grass,<br \/>\nThey no longer moo at us,<br \/>\nWhen by them they pass.<\/p>\n<p>The midges are getting massacred,<br \/>\nThey too have rights you know,<br \/>\nTo fly the sky to get eaten by birds,<br \/>\nRather than killed by windmills when a wind does blow.<\/p>\n<p>Arra, they look so ugly,<br \/>\nWaving their big arms there in the sky,<br \/>\nSure, they will scare away the aliens,<br \/>\nWho our planet will fly by.<\/p>\n<p>A husband recently blamed them,<br \/>\nSomeone somewhere said,<br \/>\nFor making his manhood fail to work,<br \/>\nHe now is crap in bed.<\/p>\n<p>So they charge against the windmills,<br \/>\nLuddites who piss agains the Wind,<br \/>\nThe only clean energy available on earth&#8230;<br \/>\nThey against environmentalism have sinned!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<address>Background:<br \/>\nAs with the rest of the world, Ireland is in a tizzy over windfarms. As a lifelong environmentalist, Im all for them, and cannot understand why folks are against them.
