Not Even in Longford – Cow in Car<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The cow on the roadside was hitching,
\nThe driver that stopped didnt know what to do,
\nHe spoke slowly, asked the cow where she was going to,
\nBut all the cow said, it was MOO.<\/p>\n

It was quite a struggle to get her inside,
\nIt was quite a squeeze to squash her in the back bit by bit,
\nAssure me by saying MOO youll behave said the man,
\nTo which she MOO’d to say in the car she would not shit.<\/p>\n

Well the Guards didn’t know what to think when they stopped him,
\nAnd the collar of the driver they felt,
\nHis tax and insurance was up to date,
\nBut the cow wasn’t wearing her belt.<\/p>\n

Said one Garda, “Not even in Longford would you see it”
\nSaid the other, “Its true, not even there!
\nAnd I’ve seen some strange things in Longford,
\nOf all Ive seen, Ive seen nothing this quare!”<\/p>\n

So they gave the cow a caution,
\nSaying: “This just wont do,
\nIgnorance is no excuse”, but says the other: “Whats the use”
