He knelt in his parish church this morning
\nThe world knew not his name
\nBut God knew him – as strangers
\nOn the Devils Agenda came.<\/p>\n

Others came before them
\nThrough the centuries, through the years
\nThey murdered, ruled and terrified
\nPeople prayed through fearful tears.<\/p>\n

In times past out in the colonies
\nIn years not too long ago
\nWe too did the same to other faiths
\nSo they our faith would know.<\/p>\n

Now its our turn again to be on the defensive
\nWho on our faith have relied
\nIt saw us through darker times than these
\nWe bury our dead – our time we bide<\/p>\n

We know the sun will rise in the morning
\nAs it did in dark times past history does tell
\nThe innocent die at the hands of the guilty
