Willie Rimes is on the run after giving dodgy tips that actually won at the Galway Races… the tip was not for Galway, was 200-1, on the nose for \u20ac200, Willie never placed the bet, drank the money and the horse came in first so he had to skip town… AGAIN!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Willie Rimes is back in town
\nIn Galway of all places
\nThe guards are still looking out for him
\nHes up at the bloody races
\nHe got in with some Americans
\nWho liked his Galway drawl
\nThough our Willie is a kind of droll
\nAnd not from Galway at all!<\/p>\n

Now Americans dont know Belfast from Kerry
\nAre gullible as a rule
\nThough sometimes he can be an eegit
\nOur Willie is no fool
\nHe thought that he would baffle them
\nGive them a hop tip
\nOf a racehorse running not in Galway
\nAnd with the bet would give them the slip<\/p>\n

He looked quick through the papers
\nOn a chesnut Gelding with long odds he came
\nHe advised them to bet 200 Euros
\nOn a sure thing, Dandy Flame.
\n“Mark my words, he is brilliant!”
\n“Each way” said the yank, “id suppose”
\n“No, its a sure thing” Wilie said, to cover himself
\n“Slap the two hundred, bang on the nose”
\nThe poor feckers gave Wilie the money to put on
\nFalling for the speil our Willie had spun
\nHe got the money for the stake from them
\nDrank the lot – but the bloody horse won<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Now the Americans couldnt find him
\nThey didnt know which bookies he put on the bet with
\nThey are asking all around them
\nAs they wander around Ballybrit.
\nWillie skipped from the racecourse
\nA man pursued, he hit the road hard
\nThe last sighting of him was him hitching
