I went walking with the housemate who never walks a few mornings back… looking for Pokemon. She didnt see the cat running up a hedge until it was but gone – rare for an animal lover like her, nor did she notice much of the nature around her. This is what Pokemon has done to us… we see what is not there but are blind to what is…\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What the Pokemon hunter missed: the serene view to Salthill from Ballyloughnane Beach across Galway Bay. I hunt images like this with my camera phone in different lights and weathers… got to catch them all!!!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

They walk anong us, the undead
\nLike zombies, as if insane
\nOr afflicted with disease wild of the mind
\nOr an infection of the brain.<\/p>\n

Some go to find themselved in distant lands
\nTo take in the culture and the view
\nSome hunt the streets and haunt the fields
\nSeeking not Buddha but Pikachu! <\/p>\n

The cat scrambling into the hedge
\nThat in their path had been
\nIn full view was not noticed
\nWhile seeing the imaginary on the screen.<\/p>\n

The blackbird in the bushes sings
\nBut not a note is heard
\nThey do not sing this invisable thing
\nThats more engaging than a bird.<\/p>\n

So this is what its come to
\nAfter all that is gone on
\nWe walk among nature yet see none
