Offaly singer songwriter Pete Kennedy<\/strong> has been making a name for himself in America the past few years, and is now bringing in the artists from America for a series of intimate gigs across the country, the latest being Bryce Hitchcock<\/strong>, Shantell Ogden<\/strong> and Marcum Stewart<\/strong> who all played Monroes tonight with local Pullagh man Stephen Rosney<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Stephen had the audience in the palm of his hand as is nothing new to him, being a part of the band “Roslyn<\/strong>” and who is the pen behind a lot of the songs of the equally famous and talented singer Ciaran Rosney<\/strong>. His end song about his mother passing after an illness and medical procedure gone wrong pulled the heartstrings as it was sung heartfelt as only one who has gone through such can sing.<\/p>\n
