a tale of the O&#8217;Driscoll clan of pirates of the Irish south coast&#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Helen of Troy of our fair isle<br \/>\nThat gets men drunk the more they are kissed<br \/>\nNo meter mortal maiden fair<br \/>\nWhose sweet words when gone are missed<br \/>\nNo, this senorita is silent &#8211; a rare type! &#8211;<br \/>\nSeeks not to seduce or have men killed<br \/>\nBut alas, as is so often our gory story<br \/>\nFor the greed of her kisses many were killed!<\/p>\n<p>Wild Atlantic waters lashed the ships bows<br \/>\nSpirits of the sea that by sailors are dreaded<br \/>\nThe crew thought ship cargo and crew would be lost<br \/>\nThey would never see Waterford to which they were headed&#8230;<br \/>\nThey sought refuge in Baltimore by cruel fate<br \/>\nLa Santa Maria de Soci was the ships name<br \/>\nFinneen, his sons Conor and Gilly Duff<br \/>\nGave word and them broke it without any shame.<\/p>\n<p>They seized the crew and ship and pillaged the cargo<br \/>\nTied the crew below under lock and chain<br \/>\nBroke the seamans trust for their lust<br \/>\nThat broke many men &#8211;
