While explaining the conflict to my two Polish friends, this poem popped into my mind&#8230; Its written in the Standard Habbie format made famous by the Bard of Ayrshire, Rabbie Burns<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So that is where they come from<br \/>\nWho play the fife and bang the drum<br \/>\nAnd boldly up the street they come&#8230;<br \/>\nButchers apron in the wind flying<br \/>\nBeing called &#8220;Orange B******s&#8221; and &#8220;Scum&#8221;<br \/>\nAs to walk the Queens highway they are trying.<\/p>\n<p>I saw a little&#8230; I saw all<br \/>\nA white backed mural on a gable wall<br \/>\nNot a pleasant area it I would call<br \/>\nThat would give its youth some hope<br \/>\nAnd so they like their forefathers fall<br \/>\nInto hatred: shouting &#8220;F**k the Pope&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Maybe yet on a day to arrive<br \/>\nThough by then I probably wont be alive<br \/>\nIf tolerance can grow and survive<br \/>\nBoth Gael and Scot<br \/>\nShall help this nation heal bond and thrive&#8230;<br \/>\nThough perhaps not.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Visiting Belfast back in 2008 we took a wrong turn, and drove by this mural by accident.
