\nMen with quill drawing maps
\nEach side to each outlined.
\nBreiffne split between O Reilly and O Rourke
\nOwned not by either but by the Crown
\nWho in time by rebellion and bloodshed
\nHad their banners and flags torn down.
\nToday, a sleepy village, I walk
\nThe latest of my family there
\nFamed in family lore for the ructions
\nAt every May Day fair.
\nI may make it for May Day this year,
\nIf I will I do not know…
\nContinue a tradition of my father
\nWhere he met friends and foes all those years ago.<\/p>\n
