Washed by the waves, the cruel rocks
\nAgainst whom his head was dashed
\nWhown by his name they are washed today
\nAs they were washed by his blood on a time now past
\nEanna was not to have issue to rule
\nAny part of this land in his name
\nHe by Mistress Fate was cruelly denied
