Sometimes, men of the cloth with wicked words, spread hate and so are agents of evil… the latest of the old poems restored to the website…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\"The preachers came to town
\nOnce a year or so
\nAnd from church to church in the parish
\nTo save souls they would go.
\nThey called themselves the mission
\nWe called them other names not to their face
\nThey told us the evils of other faiths
\nAnd of our churches sole grace
\nHow only through ours we could have salvation
\nTo frequent others was a sin
\nAnd explained how our god, who is everywhere
\nIn another church was not found within.<\/p>\n

And in those other churches, their preachers came
\nAnd told their faithful the same
\nAnd the message they sent home
\nWas of hatred of the Church of Rome
\nAnd today Imams preach in mosques about the Jew
\nAs Hitler did, and teach their flock to hate me and you
\nFor it is true, to their flock they tell
\nGod hates us all who don’t believe, the infidel.<\/p>\n

Satan speaks, but him we do not see
\nThrough these preachers of hate to you and me
\nWe are responsible for our actions if we believe
\nThe worlds of the One who does Deceive.
\nGod, save us from the Preachers who spread hate
\nLet us love, not listen to preachers, and as Children of God be great.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
