This poem was written visiting Serbia for the first time nearly ten years ago now, if not more…<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It stands there like a church of age
\nCandles burning, Icons holy on show
\nAnd the visitor thinks its there a while
\nThat the churches history does not know<\/p>\n

It is only built in recent years
\nAs thanks for fortune good in life of a man
\nA gift to God, built in stone
\nWe should do the same if we can<\/p>\n

Not build a church, a deed so grand
\nBut something to give to God we should do
\nTo show gratitude for prayers answered
\nAnd give thanks for God watching over you…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
